Logo & Stationary
Graphic Design
I wanted a logo that was bold, clean, geometric and thought provoking. I wanted it to stand up to time and be its own mark that I could place all over my work if I so choose to. My final piece was extremely satisfying.
I started off with trying to meld my two initials (J for James and R for Rogers) into one logo. I really liked the creativity and freedom that working with letter forms affords you. Then I started to play with my signature and continuous lines. You can see my progression through the gallery.
Now to make the stationary, business card, and envelope. I used the logo as much as I could fit it in. I designed a watermark to fill up the background as well. I also connected the style of my logo with a bleed for the black. The back of the business cards remind me of diamonds and I would love to have something like that for pattern put on clothing one day.
