During my sophomore year as a student at St. Norbert College, we were given the assignment of creating an illustration using the Adobe creative suite. At the time, I was obsessed with the show Breaking Bad and stumbled upon this photo - a great profile shot of the character Walter White.
Inspired by the show and the photo, I began an undertaking of recreating the profile through purely Adobe Illustrator. The next weeks consisted of hours upon hours of careful vector shape manipulation, with a few terrible software crashes along the way. But the result was extremely satisfying.
Happy with my work, I also submitted this piece under the title Say My Name to the Fox River Addy Awards, and in 2015 I received the Fox River Ad Club Student American Advertising Award - Silver
